Description

Rosemary´s Baby Påskeøl all-grain beer kit – ingredients for 23–25 litres

Rosemary´s Baby is a deep red Easter ale with subtle notes of chili that give a pleasant warmth in the finish. Combined with fresh American hops and rosemary, it is a beer that goes perfectly with lamb, but is just as good on its own.

All Brewolution all-grain beer kits contain malt, hops, yeast and, where relevant, sugar and spices for a 23–25 litre brew. The kit is for homebrewers who brew with a brewing system and mash and boil from scratch.

Frequently asked questions about the Rosemary´s Baby Påskeøl all-grain beer kit

How strong will the beer be?

With OG 1.067 and FG 1.017, the beer ends up at about 7.3 % ABV. Bitterness is 35 IBU and colour 30 EBC.

How long should the beer ferment?

The kit is designed for 14 days of fermentation at 18–23 °C. Check with a hydrometer and wait until the reading is stable for a few days before packaging.

Why is the malt unmilled?

Milled malt starts to oxidise and lose flavour and aroma. The malt is therefore supplied whole, so you can mill it just before brewing.

What food does it go with?

Chili, rosemary and American hops make Rosemary´s Baby a good match for lamb and other Easter dishes.

What else do I need?

You need equipment for mashing and boiling, a fermenter and sugar or carbonation drops for carbonation. If you do not have a malt mill, you should get one too.
