Sorachi Ace 5 kg hop pellets – Japanese hop with lemon and dill
Sorachi Ace is a Japanese hop variety developed in 1984 for Sapporo Breweries. It is known for a distinctive flavour and aroma of lemon and dill. BarthHaas also describes sweet and fruity notes of overripe orange, lychee and lemongrass, and a woody character reminiscent of frankincense. Sorachi Ace is versatile and is used for both bittering and aroma. This 5 kg pack of pellets is intended for breweries and others brewing larger volumes.

How to use Sorachi Ace
For bittering, add Sorachi Ace early in the boil. To bring out the lemon and dill character, use it late in the boil, in the whirlpool or for dry hopping. The profile is distinctive, so many brewers start with a moderate amount.
