Potassium sorbate (E202) is used as a preservative to prevent yeast and mold growth in wine, cider, juice, and other beverages. Ideal for stabilization after fermentation, especially in combination with sulfite (Campden). Easily dissolves in water and does not affect taste or aroma when correctly dosed.
