Special Roast Malt - Briess
This is a drum-roasted biscuit-like malt that is more deeply roasted than Briess' Victory® Malt. Through a unique malting and roasting process, the intensity of toasted bread and biscuit flavor is increased. It develops noticeable notes of bran flakes and creates a distinctive sourdough flavor.
Usage Levels / Beer Styles
- 5-10%: Excellent in IPA, ESB, Amber, Nut Brown Ale, Porter, and other dark beer styles
