Splitter for filling PolyKeg with KeyKeg Manual Filling Head

When filling the PolyKeg, it is recommended that a back pressure of up to 0.5 bar be applied between the keg and the bag after filling. This offers the following advantages compared to other kegs on the market:

1. A constant pressure against the bag prevents the phenomenon of CO2 leaving the beer, which occurs with increased temperature or agitation, creating foam and partial oxidation.
2. You avoid drips of beer between the bag and the keg after filling. If this should happen, the bag is not damaged, but it has an aesthetic effect.

The KeyKeg Manual Filling Head (standard version with only an air outlet) can be used on PolyKegs with a K-valve. To add back pressure with CO2 between the keg and the bag after filling, this solution with a splitter and shut-off valves mounted on the filling head's outlet will eliminate the need to attach and detach the CO2 hose after each filling. One outlet is used to release air during filling. The other outlet is used to add back pressure with CO2.

The shut-off valves have 3/8" quick connectors for hoses with a 3/8" outer diameter.
