Star San Acid-based Rinse Aid for Homebrewing

Star San is an environmentally friendly, acid-based rinse aid for brewing equipment, fermenters, water containers, etc., and is the world's most widely used rinse aid in homebrewing. The agent is self-foaming, which allows it to reach the most difficult places without problems. Star San is produced by Five Star Chemicals in the USA.

Can be used rinse-free as before, but Star San, Saniclean, Chemipro San, etc. are now recommended to be rinsed with water after use in accordance with regulations.

Mixing ratio:

  • 1 oz (30ml) per 19 liters (5 gallons) of water
  • 15 ml per 9.5 liters of water

The bottle has its own dosing chamber for easy dispensing.
