Super-Kleer fining agent for wine and hard seltzer
Super-Kleer K.C. is a 2-part fining kit for hard seltzer, wine, and beer. It contains two pre-mixed pouches, kieselsol and chitosan. It works by creating both strong negative and strong positive charges in the wine, leading to larger yeast clumps and faster clarification. These fining agents have been successfully used in wine kits, grape and fruit wines, and spirit washes. Contains 65ml.
Instructions: Add kieselsol to 19-23L of hard seltzer / wine. Stir gently. After 1-24 hours, dissolve chitosan in 30 ml of warm water. Add to the fermenter with hard seltzer / wine and stir gently. Attach airlock. Clarifies wine, etc., in 12-48 hours. Cannot remove pectin haze.
