Take me to Heaven is an Easter brew with heather flowers and honey, made to go with the treats on the Easter table. The kit comes from Brewolution and contains malt, hops, heather flowers, honey, yeast and Irish moss (fining agent) for a 23–25 litre brew.

The kit is for brewers who brew all-grain, with a brewing system or kettle, and mash and boil from scratch.

Uncrushed malt

For quality and shelf life, the malt is supplied uncrushed. With your own grain mill you can crush the malt right before brewing and have completely fresh ingredients on brew day.

Are the heather flowers and honey included?

Yes. Both heather flowers and honey are in the kit, together with malt, hops, yeast, Irish moss and brewing instructions.

Is the malt crushed?

No. The malt is supplied uncrushed because crushed malt starts to lose flavour and aroma. Crush it with a grain mill right before you brew.

When should I brew to have the beer ready for Easter?

Fermentation takes 14 days, and bottle conditioning takes about two weeks at room temperature. Brew at least four weeks before Easter, ideally earlier.
