The Brew Bag Mash Bag

A very sturdy and durable mash bag that can be used again and again. It is designed to be lifted by a hoist, and can withstand up to 45kg of malt (equivalent to 90kg of wet malt!).

• Easy to clean: hand wash with warm water and dish soap. Rinse with clean water and hang to drip dry.
• With strong polypropylene straps, you can easily lift the bag with a hook or pulley from the brew kettle.
• Can be used as a large hop bag hanging over the brew kettle during boiling.
• The seams are on the outside, so no particles are left in the bag.
• Mesh size: 200 microns
• Made from 100% Polyester
• Dimensions: diameter x height = 36 x 43 cm
• Suitable for, among others, our Brewferm 35L brew kettle and Ss Brew Kettle 38L / 10 gallon.

Note: as soon as the mash bag filled with malt touches the bottom of the brew kettle, you should not increase the temperature by direct heating. This can cause the brew bag to scorch or melt.
