Tilt Pro Mini Hydrometer & Thermometer
When Tilt launched its first hydrometer in 2016, most homebrewers' fermenters were either glass or plastic. Today, Tilt observes that more and more brewers are switching to stainless steel fermenters. The challenge with stainless steel, however, is that it is not particularly well suited for wireless data transmission. The Tilt Pro solves this problem, but it can be larger and more expensive than necessary for homebrewers.
This is where the Tilt Pro Mini comes in. The Tilt Pro Mini has a smaller size and lower price, and is easy to retrieve from smaller tanks with 1.5" tri-clamp ports. At the same time, it retains the functions of the Tilt Pro, such as long range (maximum allowed by US authorities) and increased sensor resolution, which takes home brewing to a new level.
Compared to the standard Tilt, the Tilt Pro Mini increases the range by 2-3x and the precision by up to 10x. In addition, the Tilt Pro Mini can be used for fermentation under pressure up to 1 bar.
The Tilt Pro Mini can be used with the same Tilt 2, Tilt Pi, and other Tilt apps, as well as third-party hardware and software, just like the standard Tilt and Tilt Pro hydrometers. In addition, a standard Tilt and a Tilt Pro Mini can be used together if they have the same color in the Tilt 2 app. This allows up to 16 different Tilts to be run simultaneously in the Tilt 2 app, with 8 standard Tilts and 8 Pro Minis.
The Tilt Pro Mini has 100% of its logic built into the device itself, and does not rely on data being uploaded to a cloud-based server to function.
