Even though many maltsters do a fantastic job, uneven modification can still cause many problems in the brewhouse. Trizyme is a blend of α-amylase, proteases and β-glucanases. This broad-spectrum enzyme cocktail effectively counteracts problems that arise in the brewhouse due to poor malt modification, and can also combat slow or incomplete fermentations.
Trizyme can also be used with unmalted adjuncts to provide the necessary α-amylase and β-glucanase to achieve a good quality wort and satisfactory yield. A good alternative to, among others, Ultraflo Max.
