Trubinator L – whirlpool filter from Brewtools
The Trubinator™ L is a filter from Brewtools used in your brewing system or boil kettle. During the whirlpool, hops, grain residue and other debris collect in the middle of the filter, so the wort transferred to the fermenter is cleaner. The Trubinator L has a 500 mm diameter.
The filter is held in place with a wing nut, making it quick and easy to remove and clean.

What sizes does the Trubinator come in?
The Trubinator comes in three sizes: S (Ø320 mm), M (Ø420 mm) and L (Ø500 mm). Compare the dimensions with the bottom of your kettle.
How does the Trubinator work?
When you set the wort spinning (whirlpool) after the boil, hops and trub collect in the middle of the filter. The wort you drain off therefore carries less debris into the fermenter.
How do I clean the filter?
Loosen the wing nut, remove the filter and rinse it. The filter is designed to be quick to remove and clean.
