Trubinator M – whirlpool filter from Brewtools
Trubinator™ M is a filter from Brewtools for use in your brewing system or boil kettle. During the whirlpool, hops, grain remnants and other trub collect in the centre of the filter, so the wort transferred to the fermenter is cleaner. Trubinator M is 420 mm in diameter.
The filter is held in place with a wing nut, so it is quick and easy to remove and clean.

What sizes does the Trubinator come in?
The Trubinator comes in three sizes: S (Ø320 mm), M (Ø420 mm) and L (Ø500 mm). Compare the dimensions with the bottom of your kettle.
How does the Trubinator work?
When you set the wort spinning (whirlpool) after the boil, hops and trub collect in the centre of the filter. The wort you drain off therefore carries less trub into the fermenter.
How do I clean the filter?
Undo the wing nut, lift out the filter and rinse it. The filter is designed to be quick to remove and clean.
