Description
Whirlpool arm for Brew Monk B70 – create a whirlpool with the brewing system's pump
The whirlpool arm fits the coupling on the recirculation pipe of the Brew Monk B70. When you run the pump in the brewing system, the wort is sent through the arm and set in motion, creating a whirlpool at the bottom of the kettle. Hops and trub collect in the centre, making it easier to transfer clear wort to the fermenter.
The arm is 58 cm long and made of stainless steel.

Frequently asked questions about the whirlpool arm for Brew Monk B70
What is the benefit of a whirlpool?
As the wort spins, hop debris and trub gather in a cone in the middle of the kettle. You get clearer wort into the fermenter and less sediment.
When do I use the whirlpool arm?
After the boil. Many brewers let the wort spin during a hop stand at 70–90 °C for 10–30 minutes, then let it rest so the cone settles before transfer.
Does the arm fit other brewing systems?
The arm is made for the recirculation pipe of the Brew Monk B70. We do not state that it fits other models.
