Description

This Belgian yeast strain is ideal for witbiers and light Belgian ales. It produces a moderate amount of spicy phenols that provide a delicate balance between fruitiness and freshness. With up to 75% attenuation, it leaves a subtle malty character that balances the use of wheat malt and other adjuncts, giving the beer high drinkability and a refreshing, slightly tart finish.

Compared to English and American ale strains, WLP410 provides a slightly lower pH, which contributes to a clean and refreshing flavor profile. It is perfect for brewers who want a subtle Belgian complexity without it becoming too dominant.

Recommended for witbiers, Belgian table beers, and lighter saisons.
