AMS is an acid blend formulated to effectively reduce water alkalinity while adding beneficial chloride and sulfate ions. The use of AMS will also help prevent scale build-up in your water tanks. A recommended alternative to lactic acid.
AMS is used especially in the brewing industry to provide optimal pH levels throughout the brewing process and improve extract yield, wort runoff, and the clarity and stability of the finished beer.
