Chemipro Wash cleaner for brewing equipment
Chemipro Wash is a powerful cleaner for brewing equipment that effectively removes organic material and protein residue from brewing equipment, fermenters and similar. It releases 4–5% oxygen and is safe to use on soft metals such as copper, aluminium and brass. This pack contains 2 kg.
Please note: This product is only available in Norway.
Dosage
- Normal cleaning: 7–14 g per litre of water
- For stubborn soiling: 21 g per litre of water
How to use Chemipro Wash
- Dissolve the powder in water according to the dosage above.
- Clean the equipment until all residue is gone.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Then sanitize the equipment with an acid-based product such as Star San or Chemipro San.
Regarding cleaning the Grainfather brewing system: only cleaners that are gentle on soft metals are recommended.

Do I need to rinse after Chemipro Wash?
Yes. Rinse the equipment thoroughly with clean water after cleaning, then sanitize with Star San or Chemipro San.
What is the difference between Chemipro Wash and Chemipro San?
Chemipro Wash is a cleaner that removes soil and protein residue. Chemipro San is an acid-based sanitizer used on clean equipment just before it comes into contact with wort or beer. You need both.
Can I use Chemipro Wash instead of PBW?
Yes, Chemipro Wash can replace PBW directly.
Can I use it on a Grainfather and other systems with soft metals?
Yes. Chemipro Wash is safe on copper, aluminium and brass, and for the Grainfather only cleaners that are gentle on soft metals are recommended.
