CIP spray ball rotating 1/2" FPT – for cleaning tanks
Rotating CIP (clean in place) spray ball with a 1/2" FPT female thread, which fits 1/2" NPT threads. The spray ball sprays cleaning solution around the inside of fermenters and brewing systems, so you can clean them without scrubbing by hand. It fits Brewtools, among others. The spray ball is made of 304 stainless steel.

What does FPT mean?
FPT stands for Female Pipe Thread, i.e. an internal thread to the NPT standard. The spray ball screws onto a male 1/2" NPT thread, for example on a centre pipe.
How do I use the spray ball?
Fit it to a centre pipe or a hose inside the tank and pump cleaning solution through it, for example with a submersible pump. The rotating ball spreads the liquid over the whole inside.
Which cleaners can I use?
Clean with an alkaline cleaner such as PBW or Chemipro Wash and rinse well with water. Finally, you can run a sanitizer through the system.
