Description
Craft Series Mango Pale Ale – extract kit from Mangrove Jack's
Mango Pale Ale is a Limited Edition extract kit in Mangrove Jack's Craft Series. The beer has juicy mango notes combined with citrus and tropical hop aroma, and is a refreshing, moderately dry pale ale with a smooth, delicate bitter finish.
The Craft Series extract kits contain liquid malt extract, dry yeast and in some cases dry hops. To brew Mango Pale Ale you also need 1.2 kg liquid malt extract, also called Pure Malt Enhancer, to reach the intended alcohol content. Malt extract gives the beer better flavour, body and mouthfeel than sugar or dextrose. Priming sugar is not included.

Frequently asked questions about the Mango Pale Ale extract kit
What do I need in addition to the kit?
You need 1.2 kg liquid malt extract to reach the intended alcohol content, and priming sugar or carbonation drops if you bottle the beer. Yeast and dry hops are included.
How much beer does the kit make?
The kit makes about 23 litres of pale ale at 4.7 % ABV.
Can I use sugar instead of malt extract?
Malt extract is recommended. It gives better flavour, body and mouthfeel than sugar or dextrose, which only add alcohol and can make the beer thin.
Is a Fresh Wort Kit a better alternative?
If you are considering extract kits, you should also try a Fresh Wort Kit. It is 20 litres of ready-brewed wort that you pour straight into the fermenter, with no water added, and the beer turns out much better than with an extract kit.
