Dark Crystal Malt is a dark crystal malt from the English maltster Thomas Fawcett & Sons. It gives the beer a ruby red colour and a burnt toffee flavour, adding depth, colour and complexity to strong ales and stouts. How to order
The price is per 100 g. Choose the quantity you need, for example 5 for 500 g or 30 for 3 kg, and choose whole or crushed malt.
If you want a ready-mixed grist for a recipe, order each malt in whole 100 g units and write the blend in the comment field at checkout, for example "Malt blend: 5.4 kg pale ale malt, 270 g Cara Blond".

Can I get the malt crushed?
Yes. Choose crushed malt when you order. Brewshop stores the malt uncrushed and only crushes it when you order, because crushed malt starts to lose flavour and aroma.
