Rehydration of dried yeast:
Disinfect the Erlenmeyer flask in boiling water.
Then boil water and let it cool to about 30℃. You should have about 10 times the amount of water compared to the amount of yeast (e.g., for 10g of yeast, you should have about 100ml of water).
Sprinkle the yeast on top and cover with aluminum foil. Let it stand still until the yeast has dissolved, then gently swirl the flask (do not shake vigorously). Now you can pitch the yeast into the fermentation vessel.
