Fercubator (Ferminator) Basic - Fermentation Chamber

The Fercubator, formerly known as Ferminator, from Brewolution in Denmark, is an affordable and smart fermentation chamber that ensures fermentation at a precise and stable temperature, which is essential if you want to achieve the best possible results when brewing beer. At room temperature (20°C), the Fercubator can lower the temperature to as low as 0°C and raise it to 50°C*. For example, it is possible to ferment lagers and pilsners at the correct low temperature or ales with many desired esters at a high fermentation temperature.

Fercubator gives you control during fermentation and maintains a constant temperature throughout the fermentation process, and can, of course, be adjusted as desired. A correct and stable fermentation temperature ensures that unwanted flavors are avoided, and that the yeast does not go dormant.

An integrated WiFi module is included in the Fercubator Basic cooling/heating unit, which will soon be unlockable for a fee on the Brewolution.com website.

Easy to operate

The Fercubator's control panel is easy to read and simple to operate with a few basic buttons. The set and actual temperature are always displayed, making it easy to monitor progress. The temperature can be adjusted at any time according to desire and need.

Cooling / heating unit

  • Can lower the temperature by up to 20°C relative to ambient temp*.
  • Can raise the temperature by up to 30°C relative to ambient temp*.
  • Built-in fan circulates air for uniform temperature throughout the Ferminator.
  • The control unit is easy to program and shows actual and set temperature.
  • Temperature sensor with 2-meter cable
  • The temperature sensor can be mounted either on the outside of or in the fermentation tank with a thermowell, thereby measuring the precise temperature of the contents.
  • Max consumption: 75 Watts, standby: 1 Watt.
  • Fan: The fan runs constantly, but at four different speeds as needed. Noise level is 43-51dB.

Extension module

The extension module has a height of 22 cm.
The Fercubator can be expanded with additional extension modules, as well as an extra cooling/heating unit on the back.
The extension module and Fercubator can be separated to take up minimal space when stored.

Material
Fercubator is made of EPS styrofoam. Please note that there may be minor cosmetic imperfections/scratches in the styrofoam, but this does not affect its insulating function.
*Tested with Fercubator Basic; when using extension modules, an additional cooling/heating unit should be used.
