Whirlpool Arm for Grainfather G40 & G70

Whirlpool arm for use with Grainfather G40 or G70, a new accessory for your brewing system that makes it easy to create a whirlpool when brewing, without the need for manual stirring. Simply connect it to your recirculation pipe on the G40 or G70 and let the whirlpool arm do the work for you. The result is that hops and trub collect in a cone/pyramid in the center of the bottom, making it easier to transfer clear wort to the fermenter, instead of a lot of sediment going on to fermentation.

How to use the Whirlpool Arm

1. At the end of the boil, ensure both the pump and recirculation valve are switched off.
2. Connect the Whirlpool Arm to the recirculation pipe so that the other end sits below the surface of the wort.
3. Ensure the wort temperature is below 99°C (210°F) or at your suggested whirlpool temperature, then switch on the pump and slowly open the valve to begin recirculating the wort.
4. Add your whirlpool hops and recirculate according to your recipe.
5. Once complete, switch off the pump and carefully remove the whirlpool arm. Then connect your counterflow chiller to finish chilling and transfer to your fermenter.
