Stalljen Kveik 300g - Original Culture
Stalljen multi-strain is a traditional kveik sourced from Stig Seljeset in Hornindal. It yields a full-bodied and tropical flavor profile, with distinct notes of mango and pineapple, as well as subtle hints of orange and lemon for balanced complexity.
Wide Temperature Range and Fast Fermentation
This kveik is highly flexible and can ferment well in a temperature range from 8 to 38 °C, offering brewers great freedom. At optimal temperatures of 31–35 °C, fermentation can be completed in up to 72 hours, delivering quick results without compromising quality.
Versatile for Various Beer Styles
Stalljen kveik is ideal for both pseudo lagers and IPAs, where its tropical flavors can truly shine. With its versatility, it is an excellent choice for brewers looking to explore different beer styles with unique and balanced flavor profiles.
Pitching Kveik
Pitch directly into the wort by spreading it evenly over the surface, or rehydrate the yeast first. For fermentation below 18°C or with high wort gravity (OG above 1.060), increase the dosage to 60 g/HL.
