White Belgian candi sugar in whole pieces, supplied in a 25 kg sack. Candi sugar is used especially in Belgian beer styles such as tripel and strong golden ale. It ferments almost completely, raising the alcohol content and giving a drier, lighter body without adding colour.
The sugar is made by Belgosuc in Belgium and supplied by Castle Malting. It is produced from sugar beet.
