West Coast is a strongly hopped beer. The malt bill of pale ale malt and two types of caramel malt are important to balance the hops. All hops are added during the last half hour of boiling, in addition to 9 days of dry hopping, which enhances the beer's taste and aroma.

Kinn Vestkyst Indiaøl All-Grain Beer Kit

In collaboration with Kinn Bryggeri in Florø, we have created an all-grain kit for homebrewers who want to brew the hop bomb Vestkyst American India Pale Ale.

Details:

  • Contents: Malted grain (6.8 kg), hops, yeast, and brewing instructions
  • Yields approx. 21 liters
  • OG: 1.070
  • FG: 1.015
  • EBC 21
  • IBU 81.5
  • ABV 7 %
  • Fermentation: 14 days at 18-20°C
  • Yeast: 2 x S-04 dry

Sugar for carbonation, fining agents, and optional yeast nutrient are not included in the kits.

For quality and shelf life, the malt is unmilled. If you don't already have one, we recommend investing in a malt mill to ensure 100% fresh ingredients for brew day. Freshly milled malt is fantastic!
