Description
Klostergården Alstadberger Stjørdalsøl All-Grain Beer Kit
Klostergården Håndbryggeri is located by the old monastery ruins on Tautra in Trøndelag. In collaboration with Roar Sandodden from Alstadberg Tradisjonsbryggeri, Jørn Anderssen from Klostergården has together created Alstadberger - a traditional Stjørdalsøl where the smoked malt is malted in a traditional kiln (såinnhus) and brewed at Klostergården on Tautra. In 2014, this beer became the first Norwegian beer to be awarded the "Spesialitet" (Specialty) label.
The beer is characterized by a prominent smoky flavor, full malt flavor, sweetness, low bitterness, and subtle hop character.
The Stjørdals malt in the beer kit is malted for us by Roar Sandodden. In addition, the malt base consists of Salome Pale from Bonsak Gårdsmalteri, and a hint of Crystal malt.
Please note that you will also need 220g of regular dark syrup. This is not included in the beer kit and must be purchased separately from a regular store.
