Ball valve 1/2" FPT – female NPT threads at both ends, 304 stainless steel
Ball valve in top-quality 304 stainless steel from Brumetal. The valve has 1/2" female NPT threads (FPT) at both ends and opens and closes with a quarter turn of the handle. Use it on kettles, tanks and hose set-ups where you want to be able to shut off the flow, and screw hose barbs or other fittings with 1/2" male NPT threads into each end.

What does FPT mean?
FPT stands for female pipe thread. It is always a female NPT thread, the American tapered pipe thread. The valve has 1/2" female NPT threads at both ends.
Which fittings fit the valve?
Any fitting with 1/2" male NPT threads, such as hose barbs and quick disconnects. BSP threads are a different standard and do not fit.
How do I make the threads seal?
Wrap thread tape around the male threads of the fitting you screw into the valve.
How do I clean the valve?
Rinse and clean the valve in the open position straight after use, so no residue is left around the ball. Take it apart now and then for a thorough clean.
