Odd Island Brewing Twelve Fifty India Pale Ale All-Grain Beer Kit (Best Before 29.11.2025)

Best before August 2022, but good for another year.

In cooperation with the microbrewery Odd Island Brewing in Gothenburg, and Twilling Import, we are proud to offer their delicious West Coast IPA "Twelve Fifty" as an all-grain beer kit for homebrewers in Norway. A very well-balanced and fruity old-school IPA.

From heavy metal to beer

Odd Island Brewing was started in 2015 by Daniel Svensson, former drummer of In Flames, one of Sweden's biggest rock bands. The American craft beer scene was a major inspiration during tours in the USA, and when Odd Island Brewing was founded, they combined their passion for good craftsmanship and their ability to collaborate as bandmates in a touring rock band. Daniel was soon joined by the bassist from the same band, Peter Iwers, who surely saw an opportunity to get cheap and good beer for his restaurant in Gothenburg named "2012".

  • Contents: Malted grain (7.4 kg), hops (330g), yeast and brewing instructions
  • Yields approx. 21-22 liters (28 liters pre-boil, approx. 24 liters for fermentation)
  • OG: 1.073
  • FG: 1.018
  • EBC: 13.0
  • IBU: 30
  • ABV: 7.2 %
  • Fermentation: 14 days at 18°C
  • Yeast: 3 x S-04 dry.

Sugar for carbonation, fining agents, and any yeast nutrient are not included in the kits.

For quality and shelf-life, the malt is unmilled. If you don't already have one, we recommend investing in a grain mill to ensure 100% fresh ingredients for your brew day. Freshly home-milled malt is fantastic!
