Oxyturbo Major is a compact CO2 regulator with one outlet for standard CO2 cylinders. It comes with a John Guest 5/16" push-fit connector, so you can connect and disconnect the tubing quickly and easily. Maximum outlet pressure is 3 bar, and the 0–4 bar gauge makes it easy to set a precise carbonation pressure. The regulator is made in Italy by Oxyturbo.

How to connect to your keg
For a Cornelius keg you need 5/16" tubing and a ball lock gas disconnect. The easiest option is a ready-made push-fit tubing kit with ball lock, which you simply push into the connector on the regulator. If you prefer regular tubing with a hose clamp, you can fit a John Guest Tube to Hose Stem into the push-fit connector. It is an adapter to a hose barb.
Important: Always keep the CO2 cylinder upright when the regulator is connected. The cylinder contains liquid CO2, which can freeze the gauge and damage the regulator if the cylinder is tilted or lying down.

Frequently asked questions about Oxyturbo Major
What pressure should I use to carbonate in a keg?
A simple and safe method is 1 bar for about a week at 3–5 °C, with the gas connected the whole time. The beer will not carbonate beyond what the pressure allows. Major goes up to 3 bar, so you have plenty of margin.
Does Major fit SodaStream cylinders?
No, Major is designed for standard CO2 cylinders. For SodaStream and AGA cylinders, Oxyturbo has dedicated regulators such as Minimal.
Why must the CO2 cylinder stand upright?
The cylinder contains liquid CO2. If it is tilted or lying down, liquid can reach the regulator, freeze the gauge and damage the regulator.
Can I connect two kegs at the same time?
Major has one outlet. If you want to serve or carbonate two kegs at once, Oxyturbo MajorPlus has two outlets.
