The Simply Adventure Pale Ale starter set with the Adventure Pale Ale 20L Fresh Wort Kit gives you everything you need to get started with real craft beer at home, including ready, water-adjusted wort brewed by Austmann Bryggeri.
In this package you get Adventure Pale Ale, a classic American pale ale inspired by the legendary Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. It is a fruity, balanced and easy-drinking pale ale with a distinct hop character from Cascade, giving aromas of citrus, pine and classic American craft beer.
The wort is delivered fully brewed, water-adjusted and ready to ferment in a 20L Bag-in-Box. It is hopped with Magnum and Cascade, and Cascade for dry hopping, US-05 dry yeast and instructions are included, so you can get started straight away.
Brew day itself takes only a few minutes. You sanitise the equipment, transfer the wort to the fermenter and add the yeast. After about 14 days of fermentation, the beer is transferred straight to the keg and carbonated with CO₂. You can choose a gentle carbonation over about a week, or force carbonate and serve the same day if you prefer.
The set is built from solid quality components, including a Cornelius keg from AEB and a CO₂ regulator from Oxyturbo, plus everything you need for cleaning, fermenting, transferring and serving.

Frequently asked questions about the Simply Brew starter set with Adventure Pale Ale
Do I need to add water to the wort?
No. The fresh wort kit contains 20 litres of fully brewed, water-adjusted wort. You pour the wort into the fermenting bucket and add the yeast that comes with it. Water should never be added.
How long until the beer is ready?
The brewing itself takes only a few minutes. Recommended fermentation is 14 days at 18 °C with 2 x US-05 dry yeast. The beer is then transferred to the keg, and you can carbonate gently over about a week or force carbonate and serve the same day.
How strong is the beer?
With an OG of 1.053 and an FG of 1.011, the beer ends up at approx. 5.6% ABV. Bitterness is 37 IBU and the colour 17 EBC.
When should the dry hops be added?
Cascade for dry hopping is included, and the timing is given in the instructions that come with the kit.
What do I need the next time I brew?
Just a new fresh wort kit. The equipment can also be used for other types of kits, such as hard seltzer or cider.
