Sirafan Speed sanitizer
Sirafan Speed from Ecolab is a ready-to-use, no-rinse, alcohol-based rapid sanitizer with broad-spectrum action against bacteria, fungi and enveloped viruses. It comes in a 750 ml spray bottle.
Please note: This product is only available in Norway.
The active ingredients give fast disinfection even on food-contact surfaces such as worktops and slicers. No rinsing is needed, and a contact time of 30 seconds is sufficient.
Sanitizing uKegs and other brass equipment
Brass corrodes on contact with acid. We therefore recommend Sirafan Speed instead of acid-based products such as Star San for sanitizing brass, for example the GrowlerWerks uKeg. Sirafan Speed contains no acid.

Frequently asked questions about Sirafan Speed
Does Sirafan Speed need rinsing off?
No. Sirafan Speed is a no-rinse product, and 30 seconds of contact time is enough.
Why should I not use Star San on a uKeg?
The uKeg has brass parts, and brass corrodes on contact with acid. Sirafan Speed is alcohol-based and contains no acid.
Is Sirafan Speed flammable?
Yes, the liquid and vapour are flammable. Keep it away from open flames and read the safety data sheet.
