Stigbergets West Coast IPA All-Grain Beer Kit
In collaboration with Stigbergets Bryggeri in Gothenburg, Sweden, we are pleased to offer their flagship NEIPA as an all-grain beer kit. This is not a West Coast IPA as many associate with old-school IPAs with high bitterness. No, this is Stigbergets' interpretation, a Scandinavian West Coast with seagulls, more rocks, and friendlier people. A fruity, hazy NEIPA with low bitterness, generously hopped with Citra and Mosaic, and Simcoe during boil/whirlpool, supported by a malt base of extra pale malt, oats, and wheat.
Stigbergets Bryggeri was established in Gothenburg in 2013. With a focus on innovation and quality, their beers have become known to beer enthusiasts worldwide. In 2021, the brewery was named "Årets Ölutvecklare" (Brewery Innovator of the Year) in Sweden.Details:
- Contents: Malted grain (6.7kg), hops, yeast, and brewing instructions
- Yields approx. 22-23 liters (28 liters pre-boil, approx. 25 liters for fermentation)
- OG: 1.065
- FG: 1.016
- EBC 7
- IBU 23
- ABV 6.4 %
- Fermentation: 10 days at 18°C, 4 days at 22°C
Yeast: 2 x LalBrew New England dry
Sugar for carbonation, finings, and optional yeast nutrient are not included in the kits.
For quality and shelf-life reasons, the malt is unmilled. If you don't already have one, we recommend investing in a malt mill to ensure 100% fresh ingredients for your brew day. Freshly home-milled malt is fantastic!
