Traditional Series Blonde Lager extract kit 1.5 kg – Mangrove Jack´s

Blonde Lager from the Mangrove Jack´s Traditional Series is an extract kit for about 23 litres of light, pale beer. It has a sweet, fruity aroma and a smooth, light malt flavour with a hint of apple in the finish, light bitterness and a clean, dry aftertaste. The Traditional Series kits contain liquid malt extract, dry yeast and, where relevant, dry hops.

To brew Blonde Lager you also need 1.2 kg liquid malt extract to reach the intended alcohol content. Malt extract gives the beer better flavour, body and mouthfeel than sugar or dextrose.

How to brew

1. Clean and sanitize the fermenter and equipment.
2. Mix the kit and the malt extract with boiled water, then top up with cold water to 23 litres.
3. Sprinkle the yeast on top, fit the lid and airlock, and ferment for at least two weeks.
4. Bottle with carbonation drops and leave for at least two weeks until the beer is carbonated.
