WLP067 Coastal Haze Ale Yeast Blend – fresh yeast for New England IPA
WLP067 Coastal Haze is a blend of White Labs' favourite New England-style IPA strains. The yeast gives a hazy appearance and tropical, fruity esters with notes of mango and pineapple. The beer finishes dry yet juicy and very drinkable. It comes in a 70 ml PurePitch Next Generation pack.

PurePitch Next Generation
PurePitch Next Generation contains twice as much yeast in a 70 ml pack. One pack pitches 7.5 million cells per ml into 20 litres of standard ale (OG below 1.074 and temperature above 16 °C) without a starter. Just twist off the top and pour the yeast into the wort.

Do I need a yeast starter?
No, not for 20 litres of standard ale with OG below 1.074 and fermentation above 16 °C. Stronger beers or larger batches need more yeast.
What does STA1 positive mean?
STA1-positive yeast can break down dextrins that regular yeast leaves behind, which gives a drier beer. Clean and sanitise your equipment thoroughly afterwards so the yeast does not carry over to your next brew.
What temperature should WLP067 ferment at?
White Labs recommends 20–22 °C. A stable temperature gives the most consistent result.
Which beers is WLP067 suited to?
New England IPA and other hazy beers where you want a tropical, fruity yeast character.
