ZChiller Counterflow Chiller
The ZChiller counterflow chiller is highly flexible for both small and large batches (20-100+ litres). Exclusively at Brewshop in Norway.
Inside, the ZChiller's copper tubing features a "Spiral Star Design", which increases the surface area of the copper in contact with the wort. It also increases turbulence, and more movement over more area means the wort is cooled down significantly faster than with conventional counterflow chillers. This provides a more efficient cold break, to remove unwanted proteins and particles in the beer, and reduces DMS production.
The ZChiller is as efficient as a plate chiller, but without clogging problems, and much easier to clean. It only takes about 20 minutes to cool down 200 litres.
Supplied with welded 1/2" NPT connections for hose nipples.

Cleaning: The inner tube is run through with PBW, and rinsed with hot water. Before use, boiling wort is recirculated for a few minutes to sterilize the chiller internally.
