AEB Brewing dry yeast – Fermoale and Fermolager
From AEB Brewing we stock four dry yeast strains in 11.5 g sachets: Fermolager W for bottom-fermented lager and Fermoale AY3, AY4 and New-E for top-fermented ale. Together they cover everything from pilsner and helles to IPA, porter and New England IPA.
How to choose AEB yeast
- Fermolager W – lager yeast of German origin for pilsner, helles, Vienna, bock and märzen. Ferments at 10–14 °C, about 82 % attenuation, high flocculation and 9–10 % alcohol tolerance.
- Fermoale AY4 – clean, neutral ale yeast from the USA for IPA, APA, EPA, brown ale and porter. Ferments at 16–23 °C with 84 % attenuation and tolerates up to 11 %.
- Fermoale AY3 – gives a rich malt character and suits pale ale, brown ale, porter and English, American and Belgian ales.
- Fermoale New-E – for NEIPA, hazy IPA, juicy pale ale and pastry stout, and boosts fruity hop aromas.
