Description
Fermoale AY3 11.5 g – versatile English ale yeast from AEB Brewing
Fermoale AY3 from AEB Brewing is an active, top-fermenting dry yeast originating from the United Kingdom. It suits a wide range of beer styles, such as pale ale, brown ale, porter and other English, American and Belgian ales. The yeast is comparable to SafAle S-04.
AY3 gives a balanced profile with a clear malt character, with notes of biscuit, caramel and a hint of citrus, without overpowering the hops or specialty malts. It has high attenuation, high flocculation and tolerates up to 12 % alcohol, so it also suits stronger ales. Low ester and sulphur production gives a clean fermentation.
