Description
Fermolager W 11.5 g – German lager yeast from AEB Brewing
Fermolager W from AEB Brewing is an active dry yeast for bottom-fermented beer styles. The strain is of German origin with a clean fermentation profile, and suits a wide range of classic lagers such as pilsner, helles, Vienna lager, bock and märzen. The yeast is equivalent to W-34/70.
The yeast produces low levels of esters and phenols, giving a balanced, fresh and crisp beer. High flocculation gives good clarity, and moderate attenuation gives a good balance between malt and hops. It suits homebrewers and microbreweries who want a reliable lager yeast.
