Tapcooler – counter-pressure filler for bottles, cans and uKeg
Tapcooler is a Norwegian maker of counter-pressure filling equipment for beer. With a Tapcooler counter-pressure filler you fill bottles and cans from a keg without the beer losing carbonation or picking up oxygen. How counter-pressure filling works
The filler connects to your tap. A telescopic tube first sends CO2 and then beer in from the bottom of the bottle while the bottle is under pressure. The pressure is released gradually through the relief valve, so the beer does not foam. CO2 is let in with a push-button valve.
Choosing the right Tapcooler equipment
Tap: The filler fits Intertap, Ultratap, Vent-Matic, Nukatap and the Perlick 600 series. It cannot be used on taps that are not forward sealing.
Bottle height: The telescopic tube suits bottles from 10.5 to 31.5 cm.
CO2 connection: push-fit for 3/16" OD tubing. An adapter for soft hose with 4–5 mm ID is included. The ball lock adapter lets you borrow CO2 from a corny keg.
Cans: the Nanocanner IM purges and fills cans with 202 lids in a closed system, both standard and sleek cans of any height. It is rated to 1.5 bar. The bracket is sold separately: choose a wall bracket or magnetic bracket, which can be joined into double and triple stations.
Many bottles: the beer valve with keg connector and 2 m tube connects straight to a threaded ball lock disconnect, without a tap.
Accessories and spare parts
The Handsfree Clip and Magnetic Handsfree hold the filler while you work. There is also a drain tube for the relief valve, manual pressure reduction, extension tube, connection tube for Intertap and Nukatap, O-ring kit, spring for the CO2 valve and a seal for the can filling station.

Which taps does the Tapcooler filler fit?
Intertap, Ultratap, Vent-Matic, Nukatap and the Perlick 600 series. Taps that are not forward sealing cannot be used.
Can I fill cans with a Tapcooler?
Yes, with the Nanocanner IM in addition to the filler. It fits cans with 202 lids. You also need a can seamer to close the cans.
Can I fill a uKeg with a Tapcooler?
Yes. You need a rubber stopper with a 9 mm hole that fits the 53 mm opening of the uKeg.
Do I need a tap to use a Tapcooler?
No. With the beer valve with keg connector and tube, you connect the filler straight to the keg via a threaded ball lock disconnect.
