Craft Series Raspberry & Lime Cider – extract kit for a sweet raspberry cider with lime
Mangrove Jack's cider kits are made from fresh fruit that is pressed, concentrated and then cold-filled into a pouch to preserve the natural flavour of the fruit. Raspberry & Lime makes approx. 23 litres of sweet cider with the aroma and flavour of juicy raspberries and a fresh, tart lime finish.
What else you need
To brew the kit you also need 1 kg dextrose/glucose, or even better Cider Enhancer, to reach the intended alcohol content. The yeast is included.

How to brew the cider
Sanitize your equipment. Mix the contents of the pouch and the sugar or Cider Enhancer with water, top up to approx. 23 litres and measure the OG. Sprinkle the yeast on top and ferment at 17–22 °C until the gravity is stable, then bottle or keg the cider.
Frequently asked questions about Craft Series Raspberry & Lime Cider
What do I need in addition to the kit?
1 kg dextrose or a pack of Cider Enhancer, plus basic brewing equipment such as a fermenter, airlock and sanitizer. The yeast is included.
What is the difference between dextrose and Cider Enhancer?
With dextrose the cider ends up at approx. 5.2 % with an FG below 1.003. With Cider Enhancer Mangrove Jack's states an FG below 1.007, which gives the cider a little more body.
What temperature should the cider ferment at?
Mangrove Jack's recommends 17–22 °C. Fermentation is finished when the gravity is stable for several days in a row.
Can I use malt extract instead of sugar?
No. Cider kits are brewed with sugar or Cider Enhancer, not with malt extract.
