E.C. Dahls G.O.D.S. NEIPA all-grain beer kit – juicy New England IPA
Together with E.C. Dahls Bryggeri we have created an all-grain kit for homebrewers who want to brew the juicy G.O.D.S. NEIPA. The beer is a BETA brew from E.C. Dahls, where the brewers test out ideas. It has lower bitterness and more hop fruitiness than a classic IPA.
The beer was brewed with the hip-hop band Gode Ord Dør Sist (G.O.D.S.), who have toured Norway for 20 years, with a few trips to Germany and New York, both as headliners and as support for Public Enemy, members of Wu-Tang, Xzibit, Beatnuts, Sage Francis and Tha Alkaholiks. G.O.D.S. released the LP "Gode Ord Dør Sist" in 2009 and "Svart Jord" in 2012, and have contributed to a range of records, compilations and mixtapes.
The kit is for brewers who mash and boil from scratch, for example with a brewing system.

- Water adjustment: adding calcium chloride to the mash water is recommended.
Priming sugar, finings and any yeast nutrient are not included in the kit.
Unmilled malt for fresh ingredients
For quality and shelf life, the malt is supplied unmilled. If you don't already have one, we recommend a grain mill so you have completely fresh ingredients on brew day. Freshly milled malt gives the best result.

What kind of beer is G.O.D.S. NEIPA?
A juicy 7.6 % New England IPA with plenty of hop fruitiness. It has 40.2 IBU and a pale colour of 9.5 EBC.
Why should I add calcium chloride?
Calcium chloride in the mash water accentuates sweetness and fullness. It suits NEIPA, where most brewers let chloride dominate over sulphate. Calcium is also good for the yeast.
How should the beer be fermented?
The kit contains two packs of US-05. Ferment for 14 days at 18–20 °C, and check with a hydrometer before packaging.
How much beer does the kit make?
The kit yields approx. 21–22 litres of finished beer, with 29 litres pre-boil and approx. 24.5 litres into the fermenter.
Should I keg or bottle the beer?
Hop-forward beer like NEIPA is best fresh and is sensitive to oxygen. A keg with closed transfer is best. If you bottle, keep the beer cold and drink it within a couple of weeks.
