Description
Eitrheim Kveik - Original Culture
Eitrheim multi-strain is a traditional kveik with roots from Reidar Eitrheim's farm in Tokheim. It gives your beer a full-bodied and fruity flavor profile, characterized by stone fruit, apricot, and peach, with subtle notes of orange and pineapple that add extra depth.
Fast and flexible fermentation
This kveik thrives in a wide temperature range from 15 to 38 °C, but yields the fastest results at 31–35 °C. Under optimal conditions, fermentation can be completed in up to 72 hours, making Eitrheim an efficient and flexible yeast for brewers looking to optimize their brewing process.
Perfect for modern beer styles
Eitrheim multi-strain is particularly well-suited for IPA, Pale Ale, and NEIPA, where its fruity notes can truly shine. It combines traditional Norwegian brewing culture with flavors that appeal to modern beer enthusiasts.

Pitching kveik
Pitch directly into the wort by spreading it evenly over the surface, or rehydrate the yeast first. For fermentation below 18°C or at high wort strength (OG above 1.060), increase the dosage to 60 g/HL.
