Ebbegarden Kveik - Original Culture
Ebbegarden multi-strain originates from the traditional Ebbegarden farm in Stordal. This kveik gives your beer a fresh flavor profile with distinct notes of apple and pear, combined with subtle hints of tropical fruit and citrus for added complexity.
Efficient Fermentation Across a Broad Temperature Range
Ebbegarden ferments well between 15 and 38 °C, showing its best performance at 31–35 °C. Under optimal conditions, fermentation can be completed in up to 72 hours, making it ideal for brewers who want to combine fast fermentation with high quality.
Especially Well-Suited for IPAs
This kveik is an excellent choice for brewing Pale Ale and IPA, where its fruity and complex flavors truly shine. Ebbegarden gives your beer a unique character, rooted in Norwegian brewing tradition.
Pitching Kveik
Pitch directly into the wort by spreading it evenly over the surface, or rehydrate the yeast first. For fermentation below 18°C or at high wort strength (OG above 1.060), increase the dosage to 60 g/HL.
