Protafloc fining agent for beer 50g
Container with 20 tablets of 2.5 grams each.
Protafloc tablets are a granular carrageenan product similar to Whirlfloc, only even more effective, and are added to the wort in the kettle to enhance protein precipitation when cooling the wort.
1/2 to 2 tablets per HL are added during the last 10 minutes of the boil. Optimized use at 1-5g/HL provides all the benefits below. Suitable for most breweries and homebrewers - Protafloc is an economical and very effective product for clarifying beer.
Recommended dosage for homebrewers is 1/5 - 1/2 tablet per 25 liters. NB! If you use more than the recommended dosage, you may get the opposite effect, resulting in hazy beer.
