Sabro hop pellets
Alternative hops: Talus
Sabro is a distinctive hop with a unique aroma profile where coconut and creamy tropical fruit take center stage, along with notes of tangerine, lime, stone fruit, and hints of herbs and cedar. The result is a hop with both depth and breadth – and a character that is clearly noticeable in the finished beer.
Sabro has a high content of myrcene and esters that give a juicy, almost sweet and exotic aroma, but also an underlying complexity that makes it interesting in more than just IPAs and pale ales. The hop works excellently both alone and in combination with other modern aroma and whirlpool hops, and gives the beer an unmistakable touch of something tropical, almost cocktail-like. It is known to truly shine in juicy and hazy beer styles, where the aroma plays the main role, but can also be used more subtly to add a layer of depth in lighter Belgian or experimental beers.
We supply hops of the highest quality from the world's leading hop growers. Our hops are vacuum-packed and stored in freezer rooms at -18°C, and the quality remains intact for several years. We focus on offering hops that have been produced within the last two years, but older hops can be just as good as long as they have been stored correctly. Read more about the shelf life and storage of hops in our blog post written by Yakima Valley Hops.
