SafAle W-68 11.5g - Fermentis
A very well-known yeast strain from Weihenstephan chosen for brewing classic weissbier, German wheat beers, with typical phenolic character (clove and peppery notes) and rich in fruity and floral flavors (banana). Suitable for a wide variety of wheat-based beers and fruity-spicy oriented styles. Yeast with medium sedimentation: does not form clumps, but a powdery haze when suspended in the beer.
W-68 ferments quickly, typically achieving around 80% attenuation within 4 days.
