WLP820 Oktoberfest / Märzen Lager Yeast - PurePitch Next Generation
This yeast is ideal for producing malty lager beers. Residual sweetness further promotes malt nuances while contributing to a balanced finish. The first generation of this strain can be slow, so a larger culture or planning for longer fermentation and maturation times is encouraged. Great for lagers across a wide gravity range, including bocks, doppelbocks, märzens, Oktoberfests, and American lagers.
