Yield Increase Disc BM50/BM50 Plus – more malt in the Speidel Braumeister 50 L malt pipe

The Yield Increase Disc (fine mesh) from BacBrewing makes better use of the malt pipe in the Speidel Braumeister 50 L and BM50 Plus. Malt capacity increases by 23 %, from 13 kg to 16 kg, and yield can increase by up to 20 %. This leaves room for stronger beers or bigger batches without changing machine.

Test result from a Braumeister BM50

The table shows the result of a test on a Braumeister BM50 brewing an American IPA. 62 litres of mash water, 16 kg of malt and 13 litres of sparge water were used. Before the boil the volume was 60 litres, the gravity 1.061 and the efficiency 76 %.
