It depends on the bottle. Most standard beer bottles take a 26 mm crown cap, while some bottles, including certain sparkling wine bottles, take 29 mm. Check the cap size of your bottle.

The cap is fitted to the bottle with a capper. Then the aphrometer screws into the M8 insert and you can read the pressure in the bottle.
